Samantha Gilbert, BA, CHNP
Director of Nutrition Services
Holistic Nutritional Therapist

If someone told me 10 years ago that I would be a nutritional therapist today, I would have thought they were crazy. Food was the last thing I wanted to be a focal point in my life.

As a child, I covered up my negative emotions with food. Little did I know that this would set the stage for a serious eating disorder that would plague me for most of my life. It wasn’t until I met Jason and Patricia in 2004 that I understood why I was sabotaging myself in this way. Since then I’ve used the Clearing Process to connect to my authentic self and realize my path lies in helping others heal through food. Without the clearing, I would not be where I am today.

After leaving a successful career as a fashion designer with all the ups and downs such a career entails, I was finally able to create real change with the Clearing Process and a nourishing, whole foods diet. It is an illusion that we can get to a better place through willpower and self-discipline. I know firsthand that treating your body like a machine is never sustainable, because the side effects are just too painful and debilitating.

Today I am passionate about and totally committed to empowering people to develop an authentic relationship with food that is conscientious, enjoyable, and sustainable. As a Clinical Nutritional Therapist, I look at the root cause in order to remove the obstacles to cure because each one of us is a unique ecosystem that thrives on balance and harmony.
