Leadership has been described as the “process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.” The difference between Natural Leadership and traditional leadership methods is based on how social influence is applied in the world. Natural Leadership is based on self-awareness and the emotional intelligence to truly understand how to influence. Traditional leadership influences others by force or seduction (a form of force). Since it is too much trouble to take the time to understand others, a form of force is used to influence them. It is a simple machine model of leadership.
