Natural Leadership Case Studies

Non-profits, green and social businesses, and triple bottom line businesses need Natural Leaders.
Case Study #1 - Intuitive Analysis
The CEO of a company with an international reputation was under the gun to make a hire decision. A UTUE Teacher was called and given basic information about three candidates over the phone. Without making a specific hire recommendation, the teacher said to avoid candidate B because that applicant had anger issues. The CEO later called back and informed the teacher that when candidate B was advised she didn’t get the job she went off (had an inappropriate angry response).
Problem
Many hire decisions are made based on mechanical approaches to hiring where they use very unreliable “indicators of performance." These indicators often miss key attributes of human beings that cannot be perceived by recruiter's programmed like machines.
Solution
Use intuition to perceive the energy of job applicants to accurately assess their motivations, values, and emotions.
Case Study #2 - Overcoming Procrastination
A successful small business owner was having problems with output. She struggled to meet her deadlines and had a business coach who was working with her when she was introduced to UTUE. This coach used traditional methods to help this woman overcome her problems with procrastination. For example, she encouraged and supported the owner, used leverage and made the owner commit to certain objectives, had her reduce the work into smaller pieces, and helped her reduce interruptions. The coach did everything she could to help this business owner get work out.
Problem
The business coach saw the issue with the business owner as a programming problem where she tried to find the correct or best way to program the owner to overcome procrastination. However, we are not machines and do not always respond to more programming.
Solution
By using the UTUE Brand Clearing Process, the UTUE Teacher was able to help the owner remove the energy that was blocking her, and was able to do more work that week than ever before. Removing negative energy for a human being is always effective.
Case Study #3 - Understanding True Potential
A dynamic entrepreneur was working with a business coach. The coach had her take a psychological test to determine leadership style and strengths. The coach determined that this entrepreneur would work best with a partner in her company. She had been interviewing and considering a number of good partner candidates when she met her UTUE teacher.
Problem
The coach was technically correct because when the entrepreneur took the test she was programmed to have a partner, and if she remained the same it would probably be the best option.
Solution
The UTUE Teacher was able to see that although having a partner was a viable option, she had great untapped potential. Changing the energy and removing the barriers that were holding her back could access this potential. After clearing with her UTUE Teacher, she was beginning to understand that she didn’t want a partner and preferred to authentically develop her leadership skills on her own.
Case Study #4 - Low Emotional Intelligence
The owner of a naturopathic clinic wants to increase business and is determined that marketing is needed. The owner uses a consultant with a proven track record of success. The consultant creates an organized approach to marketing with objective measures to determine progress. These objective measures include making contacts, booking speaking engagements, and activating existing patients. The owner hires staff to implement the plan. There is immediate positive movement and progress is made toward the objectives. However, the numbers are not hitting the objectives. The consultant comes in and strongly pushes the owner to drive the employees to meet their objectives for new business. The owner is becoming discouraged and is worried that the new revenue will not offset all the new marketing costs. The consultant implies that the failure is due to the owner not meeting the objectives.
Problem
For the staff the problem is obvious. Trying to meet objectives the owner becomes angry, bitter, and critical of the employees and extremely demanding. The energy in the office is depressed and full of resentment. As new patients come in they may not understand the energy or be able to name it, but it doesn’t feel good or make them want to return. The consultant is oblivious to this negative energy because he carries a lot of anger and aggression himself. Programming and machine paradigms are ignorant to human emotions and as a result, there are low levels of needed emotional intelligence.
Solution
The energy of the owner has to be changed and he has to be aware of what he’s doing to his own business. Anger, bitterness, criticism, and judgment are energies that are toxic and can be cleared with the UTUE Clearing Process. As the energy of the owner changes the energy in the office will change.
